How many times have I told about different aspects of my life in interviews, or at diners with other comics, particularly on the road? In a strange town with no one else around who really understands what our life is, we comics often stay up late and reveal ourselves to each other. If Johnny wouldn't talk to me on the couch, at least my middle act would at Denny's.
Who we are, who we want to be, and sometimes who we settle for being, these are all intimacies that comics often share in the hours between shows while we are waiting for whatever happens to come next in our lives and careers. Many times I have imagined writing my autobiography. I probably have started it a dozen times on paper and a thousand times in my head. So I have decided to do it here, on my website, in front of the world, (well they could all watch if they wanted to).
I will continue to add and edit as the passion strikes me. I will be adding video and audio clips from performances over the past 25 years, as well as lots of old photos. (As I figure out how to download that stuff) It is, like my life, a work in progress. Expect many misspellings, grammar and punctuation mistakes. I will fix them as I see them. Feel free to email me with questions on area's you want more information on.
